Craig Harkins of Fencing.net emailed me today with some women’s junior fencing news. The US Womens Fencing team won the Junior Team Foil this month in Belfast, Ireland. They defeated Team Italy on their way to gold.
As shown in the video, Nzihgha Prescod scores the winning touch against Italy to win the gold medal for Junior Womens Foil Team Event. She also defeated teammate Lee Kiefer 15-6 in an all-USA final to repeat as the cadet world champion in women’s foil.
