2009 Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Goes to Shootout

I wish I could find the video footage of the ultra sweet shot made by golfer, Morgan Pressel, today at the 2009 Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic in Sylvania, OH. She was on the 17th fairway and hit such a pretty shot. She did not have a direct view of the hole, yet she still managed to “drain” one from the fairway. It was considered the highlight shot of the day and you can see her giving her caddy a high five in the picture above. If I come across the footage, I will definitely add it.

Ultimately, Morgan ended up second to Eunjung Yi after having to take the fight for first to a shootout.

So, I haven’t watched a women’s golf event since long before I started playing. I couldn’t help but notice the ladies’ super cute ball markers that they kept clipping to their visors. So, guess what I want now… yep – some bling for my visor that I can also use.

After watching the tournament on TV, I am really ready to hit the links again. I smashed up my left hand a few weeks ago and haven’t been able to do anything with it. Hopefully by this weekend it will feel well enough to actually grip the club.
