The Perfect Gift for a Soccer Girl
My daughter has a few friends who play soccer. And a one of them is a total soccer crazed girl. Really. She can tell you who the stars are on all the teams from the 2006 FIFA World Cup and she generally lives and breathes soccer.
Her birthday is coming up and we were looking for a really unique gift for her. The Southern California-based soccer store, Nikys-Sports has a large selection of World Cup soccer gear. While the store primarily caters to adults, they do have a kids section where we found an adidas kids sized replica of the Madrid uniform.
If you have a soccer fan of any age, it is a site worth checking out – especially if you are looking for something different from what you would find at your local “big box” sports store. They carry a large line of soccer essentials too – like shoes, balls, jerseys, DVDs, and memorabilia. And coaches, you should definitely check out their selection of instructional DVDs and team apparel.
One of the things I also like about this site is that there is a photo gallery with photos of the store, the store owners, and photos with famous soccer stars like David Beckham.
