Rio de Janeiro Awarded 2016 Olympic Games

Congratulations to the city of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil for being awarded the honor of hosting the 2016 Olympic Games. It will be the first time any South American country has hosted an Olympic event. Rio outlasted finalist cities Chicago, Tokyo, and Madrid for the win.
