Opening Ceremonies

Three words describe the Opening Ceremonies for the Beijing Olympics for me – Colorful, Spectacular, Contrast.

This photo from the USA Swimming site, captures all three of those words in one amazing and gorgeous photo. The colors are so vibrant they touch your inner core. The scale of it all is so spectacular and the contrast of the light and the dark, fire and water, big and small (I could go on and on) is just breathtaking.
