You're welcome... I did just see "Dare to Dream", though — it's the documentary about the US Women's soccer team.

It's great; lots of interviews with the players (Mia Hamm, Julie Fowdy, the whole "original" bunch, including a couple of spots by current star Abby Wambach), plenty of footage of their games, the ups and downs of World Cup play and the Olympics...

I haven't had the chance to show my daughter, yet, but I think she'll love it.

Adam - thanks for taking the time to share your insights! Chances are, I will wait until I let my girls watch it, too.

Hi Char,

My wife and I saw Gracie, thinking it would be a good idea to see it before we let our 7-year old see it (who's in her second year of soccer).

I'm glad we did.

It was a good movie, but it was pretty rough - there were some "mature" dating scenes (a bit beyond that, but I'm not sure how to say it), and Gracie got smacked around on the pitch quite a bit.

Good story overall, but we're going to wait to let our daughter see it; she gets intimidated by roughness in games, and it might scare her a bit. Older/other kids may not have a problem, of course...
