Getting Ready for Summer Swim Team

My daughter has really taken to swimming and her sights set on the two end lanes of the pool – the lanes where the youngest swim team kids train. She is 6 and really wants to race. She is picking up her strokes quickly and is asking when she can be on the swim team. Her swim school has a 6 week summer swim team tune up later this spring. I am hoping she will be ready for it – as I think it will be a fun introduction for her.

She has also started to really pay attention to the swim gear the big kids have. Luckily, I found Swim Outlet and Swim2000 last fall when I was looking for her first suit. The two sites have everything a swimmer needs at prices that are very competitive.

It was pretty funny this evening watching her try to teach her big sister how to do the butterfly in her room. I think she has the water bug!
