I had a blast coaching this year (I co-coached my daughter's soccer team); there were nerve-racking times, but most of it was a blast... and watching my daughter grow — that was the best. She started the season <em>really</em> shy (only wanted to play goalie or defense), and was right in the middle of the action by the end (only wanting to be up front, or sweeper).
